Vanessa Hudgens the Coachella queen explains why she skipped the festival this year
Vanessa Hudgens opened up about why she skipped out on the 2024 Coachella Festival during a new interview with Bustle.
The 35-year-old performer has been a fixture at the annual music festival for several years, although she remained absent from the star-studded event this year.
When asked about why she did not attend the event, the actress - who recently spoke about being 'grateful' for a past breakup - stated that the idea of walking around in the desert heat 'sounded aggressive. It's a lot of walking.'
Hudgens revealed that she would not be attending Coachella by sharing a pair of photos on her Instagram account earlier this month.
In the snaps, the Spring Breakers star donned a festival-ready outfit and stuck out her tongue while relaxing in a grassy yard.

The performer, who is currently pregnant with her first child, wore a magenta dress that covered up her growing baby bump as well as a pair of open-toed sandals as she posed for the snaps.
She also accessorized with several pieces of jewelry, and her voluminous brunette hair remained free-flowing.
Hudgens was also featured as Naomi in the recently-released comedy-drama film Downtown Owl.
The movie is based on Chuck Klosterman's novel of the same name, which was originally published in 2008.
The movie will be centered on several residents of a small North Dakota town whose lives are upended by the emergence of a blizzard.
Downtown Owl is co-directed by husband-and-wife duo Hamish Linklater and Lily Rabe, and the latter also leads the cast of the movie.
Performers such as Ed Harris, Henry Golding and Finn Wittrock will round out the cast of the movie.
Hudgens spoke about working on the film during her interview with Bustle and stated that she greatly enjoyed collaborating with Linklater and Rabe, who are both actors in their own right.

'It's just really nice working with directors who are actors because they just get it in a different way. They understand the process and know how to communicate in a way that helps tell the story from an actor's point of view,' she said.
Downtown Owl's official premiere took place during the Tribeca Festival in June of last year.
The feature has received mixed to negative reviews from critics, and it currently holds a rating of 46% on Rotten Tomatoes.
Downtown Owl was released digitally in the United States on Tuesday.
